Born in Royal Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, England 1942.
Secondary and tertiary education in England.

Played fullback - school 1stXV.
Youth leader - Anglican self-governing youth club in Solihull.
Winner of Blythwood regional trophy for public speaking.
Winner of Hipwell trophy for initiative and endurance.
Trained in architecture, fine arts.  Studied history of architecture, political history)
Former member of the Birmingham Museum archaeological team.
Former member of the Birmingham Canal Preservation Society.
Member of the Clan Gregor Society
Former Member of the Auckland Institute
Religion:  Anglo-Catholic:  Rosicrucian.
Auckland University - Diploma in Construction Management.
Southern Institute of Technology - computing.
Worked as an architectural technician, later architect, in England, Australia, Fiji and New Zealand.
Married; Two children and two grandchildren. 
Former Associate of the New Zealand Institute of Management.
Former Member of the Property Management Institute.
Interests:  Genealogy.  History (general political and social history; Celtic studies; Gaelic culture; Scots clans) History of architecture; social anthropology and psychology;  human genetics; photography, gardening;  alternative healing; painting (art); traditional farming.
