WHO WOULD HAVE BELIEVED IT? OUR GRAND MASTER HAS A RACE HORSE NAMED AFTER HIM!
I received an email recently from a District Grand Master requesting not to be named telling me about a horse in the South Island called Mach (pronounced 'Mark) Winger. It is a trotter (pictured above - the horse in front).

It is a six year old gelding by Mach Three out of Fast Winger bred by R C and M M Beale at Oamaru and now owned by B OMeara, W M Gormack and M H Pearson and trained at Rangiora by Brian OMeara. Has had eight starts in its career for one first, two seconds and one third.

Not going so well this year but when it is told that its namesake is pretty famous I am sure that it will get its act together.

I am sure that the the Grand Master will "SPEAK UP" when this horse is going to win so that the whole masonic family can share in the dividend.
