This is an A3 format with the acheivements of some famous freemasons. It has some New Zealand content. The poster is designed to be used as a reference when talking to people about the Craft.
This above file is formatted as a 3 fold A4 landscape brochure. It has many interesting thoughts on how to learn and remember the ritual.
If you download and print it out remember to set the printer to Landscape A4 format.
A NEW CLOSING ODE
As Freemasons, we are liable to just go on as we have always done - "It is Lodge custom" is a favourite cry. Looking back through old song sheets I have found that in some Lodges, "Lodge custom" is not all that long lived, and very few Lodges over 60 years old, I would hazard a guess, have exactly the same odes as they did at their consecration..
With this in mind I decided to write a new closing ode, and chose that wonderful music from the Hymn "Jerusalem". Having written the words I showed them to VWBro James Morton, GL, who very kindly volunteered to typset them to the music. Here is the result.
Why don't you have a go? We should all be more active.
TEXT FOR AN OPEN NIGHT AT LODGE
In 2002 for a Lodge open night this presentation was put forward, and all but the parable was performed at two open nights at the Alpha Lodge, to mark the "FAME" campaign by Grand Lodge. This item was then requested by another Lodge and the text sent to them and it was used at an open night they held. It provides a structure for giving information on Freemasonry, the Lodge and when the playlet is performed a slight idea as to what our masonic evenings may be like.
