I was initiated into freemasony on 3rd September 1994, passed raised and first served the office of Master in the Wendlesworth Lodge No. 6640 EC. In Clerkenwell London. I moved to New Zealand in 2005 joining first The Manawatu Kilwinning Lodge No. 47 and then Lodge Pa Ka Ma No. 319 serving as Mater in both. I was invested as a Grand Steward in 2010 and as Dist GDC in 2013.

I was born in Camberwell, South London in 1956, joined the Metropolitan Police cadet service in 1972 and the Police Service proper in 1975 where I served for 30 years in both uniform and as a detective constable as a uniform beat officer I worked in Bermondsey, Rotherhithe, Southwark, Woolwich and Bexleyheath. I then joined the Southeast London Major Enquiry Team, the Serious and International Crime Squad and the Central London Shootings Team, working on several high profile investigations.

I have a daughter in the UK who is an ICU nurse and a son who is in IT, three step-children here in NZ, one granddaughter in the UK and two Granddaughters here.

After retiring from the police service we moved to NZ. I am currently retired while Karen is a Nurse Educator, Registered Counsellor, Professional Supervisor (Nursing) and soon to be qualified reflexologist.

I was actively involved in sport all my life (football, rugby, cricket, squash, badminton and hockey) until last year when by body decided it had had enough. I now enjoy leisurely cycling, walking and of course Freemasonry which is my passion.

Ashley was born in Portsmouth, England. He and his family moved to Chester in 1987 where he was initiated into Deva Lodge No. 3447 EC.  Ashley’s claim to fame is he was proposed for Freemasonry by a family friend and pub landlord WBro Olwyn Williams the Grand Father of Daniel Craig (of James Bond film fame).

Ashley emigrated to New Zealand in 1995 with his wife Jo and two sons Daniel and Jack. 

As a registered electrician and Level 4 Line Mechanic Ashley began working for Alf Downs & Son Limited in Marton.  Twenty years later he is a Senior Manager for The Downs Group. His main roles are Occupational Health and Safety looking after the welfare of fifty-eight employees.  He also looks after the company web site and presence on social media.

Ashley Joined Ruapehu Lodge No. 128 NZC in 2001, transferring to Lodge Rangitikei No. 38 in 2003 when Ruapehu Lodge ceased labour.  He has been Master of Lodge Rangitikei three times in 2008, 2009 and 2013. His happiest Masonic moment was when he initiated his youngest son Jack with the Grand Master present.   He was invested as a Grand Steward on the 16th November 2013 whilst he was still the Master of Lodge Rangitikei. 

Ashley lists his hobbies as: 
History in particular the Romans and early feudal Japan.  He also has a keen interest in Lodge History which has manifested its self in researching several notable past members.  He also enjoys Web site development, Photoshop, amateur photography, and Masonic Education. He also has a healthy interest in his veg garden and Dahlias.

John Pennell is a Company Director at Autochip ltd.

Initiated into The Manawatu  Kilwinning Lodge No 47 in 2009 and became Master in 2015. A joining member of PA-KA-MA No 319.
I enjoy renovating and or building houses, Gardening/landscaping; following and watching motor sports and visiting racing circuits.

Married to Beverley for 33 years have two Daughters (Charlotte and Georgia); and we have three grandsons.

We immigrated to New Zealand thirteen years ago.

My Name is Dave Johnson I am currently Master of Lodge Rangitikei. I was also Master  of the Kimbolton Lodge before it closed which was my mother lodge.

I have had the advantage of coming from a long line of Freemasons, with a Grandfather who was a Freemason and my Father also in the lodge.

I was lucky enough to be Initiated, Passed and Raised by my father and then also put into the chair of King Solomon when he was District Grand Master. I have been an Aircraft Engineer since 1974 and have managed to work in several countries around the world. I am currently working for the Civil Aviation Authority in Wellington.
