DIVISIONAL TEAM - CENTRAL DIVISION
Russell is a fifth generation Freemasons and was initiated into The Coronation Lodge 127 as a Lewis in February 1983. He was Master of Lodge St Matthew in Masterton in 1997 and again Empire Fergusson Lodge No. 225 in 2010. He is also a member of the Waihenga St John’s Lodge and a member of the Research Lodge of Wellington.
Russell attended Victoria University and graduated in 1984 with a Batchelor of Commerce majoring in Political Science. Since then he has contracted to many government departments and private sector companies specialising in the remediation of large failed IT Projects.
Since November 2013, Russell has been the Divisional Representative on the Board of General Purposes. Russell has also been the driving force behind the formation, development and maintenance of the Central Division Website for the last 5 years and latterly the Northern and Southern Divisions websites.
Married to Tania and with 6 children (three daughter’s weddings in the last 9 months which have kept him busy) Russell can best be described as an entrepreneur having been self-employed for the past 30 years.
His hobbies include fine art printing; woodwork; and anything technology related.
Divisional Grand Master
Graeme was born and raised in Palmerston North. In 1979 he joined the New Zealand Army where he served for 23 years. After that he worked in the Public Service before retiring in 2017.
Graeme joined Lodge Mangaroa in 1992, the Royal Arch in 2010, the Research Lodge of Wellington in 2012 and Trentham Lodge in 2013.
In 2013 he became a Grand Steward in the Hutt Wairarapa District. In his free time Graeme likes to scuba dive and smoke the occasional cigar.
