One of the major tenets of Freemasonry is almoning. The care of one's brother. It was therefore very distressing to learn of a case where all our good attintentions can come to naught.

Scinde Lodge has had a card with: Lodge Name, Almoners name, Logo, and contact details We have also considered a fridge magnet version, which would be useful to family members who are not sure who to contact. But the Almoners card is useful when visiting, they can leave the card or if the widows or Bro is not home, leave it in the letterbox. The back can also be used for a short note. Nothing to stop any Lodge from going out and getting them printed. There are some online business card printers that provide a very cheap service.

A Grand idea. We can do this. So why don't we?

Excellent idea. Could also be rolled out as a general enquiry number.

It seems, to me, to be a very good idea.It would not be very expensive, to set up and operate. Perhaps a small charge would cover that. Plus an annual renewal fee.
